Ubiquitous sentence-final particle that softens statements, reminders and corrections (好喔, 不行喔). One of the quickest markers of Taiwan-flavoured Mandarin, in speech and texting alike.

Example

明天要早點來喔。

míngtiān yào zǎodiǎn lái o

Come a bit early tomorrow, okay?

Keep 喔 and it comes back until you know it.
